CAMP Update

Camp Marston is only 1 week away!  Students are getting very excited and I’m sure you are too!

Today permission slips for transportation to and from camp went home.  They offer a few reminders about how to prepare for camp such as:

  • Students should arrive Monday (4/27) by 8:15am to get gear into cars and check in with Miss Denise. The plan is to leave by 8:30am, so arriving prior to then is a must! (Student must wear their O.M.M.S. PE shirt)
  • All medications need to be in in their original contain and placed in a zip-lock bag that is clearly labeled.  Medication can be turned into Miss Denise Friday (4/24) to be ready ahead of time.
  • Students should bring in money for the camp store this week in an unsealed envelope; $20 is typical, but no more than $50 should be sent.
  • Students should not have more than 1 bag packed, and will also need 1 pillow and 1 sleeping bag.
  • No electronics!

The permission slip is due Thursday April 23, but I have asked students to get a head start and turn it in before then.

If your child has any allergies/dietary restrictions, you as the parent are able to contact Terry Parish (tparrish@ymca.org) the food service director to ensure arrangements.
